The gertrude wheeler thespian troupe
Topeka High School, Troupe #210, the Gertrude Wheeler Thespian Troupe, is a proud member of the International Thespian Society.
The International Thespian Society (ITS) is a national honor society that honors student achievement in the theatre arts. To be eligible for induction, a Topeka High School student must earn ten Thespian points. Thespian points are awarded through involvement in theatre at Topeka High both on stage and backstage, and various other Thespian activities. Thespian points are recorded and maintained by Mr. Jensen and the sitting troupe vice president, and can be shared and monitored via Google Drive, or by seeing Mr. Jensen during Trojan Time or before/after school. When a Topeka High student earns ten Thespian points they will receive an invitation for induction in the spring. There is a one-time, lifetime membership fee of $30 to be officially inducted into the International Thespian Society. New Thespians are recognized each May at the annual Thespian Banquet & Induction Ceremony. If you have any questions, or would like further information about ITS or Thespian induction, contact Mr. Jensen. |
